REPORT Act Guidance

In May 2024, the Revising Existing Procedures On Reporting via Technology (REPORT) Act was enacted into law in the United States. NCMEC had advocated for the REPORT Act, which included a provision authorizing NCMEC to issue guidelines to help online platforms recognize indicators of online enticement of children for sexual purposes and child sex trafficking. NCMEC released those guidelines in October 2024.
